The song takes its name from the small town where I grew up, in the north of Italy, and where I often go back to refuel myself with the memories and the simplicity of the countryside. In a way, Cislago is a place of refuge, a shelter, a return to my roots.

The melody is simple and repetitive, like a mantra that helps me concentrate and let go of everything else. The lyrics speak of the struggle to find meaning in a world that seems to have lost its way, where everything is fast-paced, superficial, and disconnected from nature and the human soul.
The chorus, "Take me away from here, to a place where time has stopped, where I can breathe and dream again," expresses the desire to escape from the chaos and the noise, to find a quiet and peaceful place where I can reconnect with my inner self.

L'idea principale di Cislago è quella di creare un'atmosfera di pace e tranquillità attraverso la musica, come una sorta di balsamo per l'anima perché tutta la frenesia e la confusione del mondo contemporaneo possono renderci ansiosi e stressati.
La canzone è ambientata in un piccolo paese in provincia di Milano, dove tutto sembra scorrere più lentamente rispetto al resto del mondo. Ho scelto questo luogo perché ho vissuto lì per un po' e ho sempre apprezzato la pace e la calma che si respirano.
Il testo parla di una ragazza che cammina per le strade deserte di Cislago, riflettendo sulle vicissitudini della vita. Attraverso la sua camminata, la canzone rappresenta un percorso di rinascita e rinnovamento, dove la natura si mescola con la città, conferendo un senso di armonia e serenità.
La melodia e l'arrangiamento sono stati pensati per creare un'atmosfera di comunione con la natura e con se stessi.
