I really had so much fun shooting this video, the location was amazing and Abena, the singer, is a polyhedric artist with a deep knowledge in acting as well.
A rare skill in Italy.
Basically in my country the concept is different, you sing or you act, you do not do both.
For Abena is easier to fully understand her "role" in the game. She is soft, calm, precise, fully aware of her potential, and she goes for it!
She is a very good artist.
The location was in Milan, at the Voco® Milan-Fiere.
It was the most unbelievable location i could possibly imagine, we did 8 hours shooting, an incredible amount of footage. At the end of the day i was dehydrated from the shooting I did in the pool.
The pool it's just incredible, imagine they built a gigantic underwater environment with a huge white slide and a deep blue pool facing a carpet of stars sparkling in the horizon of Milan from the third floor of the Hotel.
Martina Migliore, aka "Abena" kept high the family profile, Abena is simply gifted, her Father Carmine Migliore just staged his Rock-Opera at the Narni's Theater in Italy with a huge success.
Respirando Insieme is a very nice song easy-listening, we are talking about Italian pop with a touch of "Steely-Dan-guitars" half a way in between rock and soul, Martina voice is superb, direct, clear-crystal.. just precious.
I' m very proud of this work, i achieved to create the entire video without using a single plugin. Old way, every effect, transitions included, let's say made by hand.
I focused on the "photography" on the image of her and a star was born!

Mi sono davvero divertito molto a girare questo video, la location era fantastica e Abena, la cantante, è un'artista poliedrica con una profonda conoscenza anche della recitazione.

Per Abena è più facile comprendere appieno il suo "ruolo" nel gioco. È gentile, calma, precisa, pienamente consapevole delle sue potenzialità e le sfrutta senza remore!

È stata la location più incredibile che potessi immaginare, abbiamo girato 8 ore, una quantità pazzesca di filmati. Alla fine della giornata ero disidratato dalle riprese che ho fatto in piscina
una sudata pazzesca 😂
La sala è semplicemente mozzafiato, immaginate che hanno costruito un gigantesco ambiente sottomarino con un enorme scivolo bianco e una piscina piena d'acqua blu intenso, posizionata esattamente di fronte a un tappeto di stelle che brillano all'orizzonte mostrando i profili di una Milano quasi magica.
Martina Migliore, in arte "Abena" ha mantenuto alto il profilo della famiglia Migliore.
Abena è figlia d'arte. Il padre, Carmine Migliore, ha appena messo in scena la sua Opera Rock al Teatro di Narni in Italia con un enorme successo.
La canzone Respirando Insieme è molto bella, parliamo di un pop italiano con un tocco di "Steely-Dan-guitars" a metà strada tra rock e soul, la voce di Martina è superba, diretta, cristallina, pungente.. insomma emozionante.
Sono molto orgoglioso di questo lavoro, sono riuscito a creare l'intero video senza utilizzare un singolo plugin. Alla vecchia maniera, ogni effetto, transizioni comprese sono fatte a mano 😁.
Mi sono concentrato sulla "fotografia" che creava l'immagine di lei, Abena.
